This Week's Cougar Cubs Highlights

Hello VES Families,

This week, at Vicenza Elementary School we proudly celebrated the Month of the Military Child (MoMC) with the Purple Spirit Week! We saw purple throughout our school. It was truly a joy to witness the excitement on our students’ faces, especially on Wednesday as they were welcomed with such a grand entry through the grand arch of balloons. Thank you to our community members who helped make this celebration meaningful for our students.

We also had the pleasure of seeing wonderful student learning in action across grade levels. Ms. Haug’s kindergarten class shared heartfelt presentations about their families, highlighting the importance of connection and belonging. Our 5th graders showcased their learning through the annual Living Biographies presentations in the MPR. Students researched influential historical figures, created tri-fold displays, wrote essays, and delivered speeches as their chosen biographical character, giving our parents and school community an engaging opportunity to learn about individuals who have shaped our world. Well done to all involved!

Warmly,

Mr. Caballero
